Coining announces the appointment of Joseph DePalma to the position of Quality Assurance Manager responsible for company's day-to-day in-process inspection, final inspection and packaging activities involving solder preforms and other stamped products. Joe joins a veteran team of Coining managers and brings with him extensive industry experience including a stint as quality manager with another solder preform manufacturer in the late 1990's.
"We wanted someone who understood stamping, rolling and casting while having relevant quality assurance and control experience," states Coining President Ken Whited. "Joe is also very hands on and personable, which are qualities we value at Coining."
Mr. DePalma previously worked at WH Industries in Northvale, NJ as its Quality Director and ISO-TS 16949/ISI:9000 Coordinator. WH Industries manufactures stampings for the automotive industry. Joseph earned a BS in Materials Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University and rose through the ranks in a series of engineering and quality positions with several other manufacturing companies before joining WH Industries in 2000.
